(Joshua 11:4-5 ESV)

Babylonian Chariots. The Babylonians carried away the Northern Kingdom of Israel.

At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
(2 Kings 24:10 ESV)

“The truth is that if Israel were to put down its arms there would be no more Israel. If the Arabs were to put down their arms there would be no more war.”
— Benjamin Netanyahu, 2006

Merkava4 Israeli Main Battle Tank, 2012. This one faces Syria.

Israeli Centurion Tank Yom Kippur War, 1973. Egypt, backed by the Soviets attacked across the Suez Canal held by Israel as a buffer since the Six-Day-War. With Egypt now under control of the Muslim Brotherhood it’s doubtful that peace will last for long.

Israeli SuperSherman Six-Day-War…In 1967 Egypt and Syria and other Arab States did enough saber-rattling that Israel launched a preemptive strike that resulted in what we call “Gaza.” Today Iran and its surrogates like Hamas rattle sabers and launch rockets. For Israel it’s simply about survival.
